P A U D (Early Childhood Education) Program In Every Village At Indonesia
PAUD (early childhood education) is the important program of Indonesia for year of 2008. Every village must have PAUD (early childhood education) program and should also be at each RW (community unit comprising several hundred families).
Hamid Muhammad the director general for non formal and informal education talk about this program after he presented citations to winners of a journalistic competition on early childhood education 2008 said that “PAUD is important because it is the basis of child education, intellectually, emotionally and in terms of character forming,” If the program turns out to be successful, the government will introduce it in regencies and provinces.
The National Education Ministry attaches special importance to journalists because they play a key role in popularizing the importance of PAUD. Sudjarwo Singodimejo the PAUD Director said the journalistic competition is a routine event. It is sponsored by the directorate general of non formal and informal education.
